Overview
Designed a viral marketing framework for a fictional fitness app, incorporating gamification, referral incentives, and social sharing mechanics to drive organic user acquisition.
The Challenge
Create a self-sustaining viral loop that achieves a viral coefficient (K-factor) greater than 1, meaning each user brings in more than one additional user on average.
The Approach
Analyzed successful viral campaigns (Dropbox, Airbnb) and synthesized key patterns. Built a multi-tier referral system with milestone rewards, social leaderboards, and sharable content templates that incentivized both senders and recipients.
